Summary: The Harkness Center for Dance Injuries at the NYU Hospital for
Joint Diseases will be holding its acclaimed continuing medical education
course, Principles of Dance Medicine: Clinical Management of the Dancer Patient, from July 12-15, 2012. This 4-day didactic and laboratory
course, sponsored by the NYU Post Graduate Medical School, will contain
information about the unique risk factors associated with dance training;
up-to-date research findings in the field of dance medicine; and advanced
treatment approaches for the practicing clinician. The course will also
provide live dance performances and panel discussions with world renowned leaders in the field of orthopaedics and biomechanics. Continuing education credits will be available.
